"Rustic Chic"

Here at Cabbage Rose, we are always interested in the latest Wedding trends. It is no secret that "Rustic Chic" is this season's most popular design theme. This will probably be applicable for the next few calendar years. We recently worked on a pink/rustic outdoor wedding for the lovely Ariel (Archer) Latus at Alda's Magnolia Hill. It was absolutely gorgeous and she was the perfect bride. Here are some pictures of our work photographed by Melissa McCrotty Photography.

Ariel wanted all white for her bouquet. We used White Mini-Calla Llies, White Hydrangea, and White Roses, with mint green Lamb's Ear. We wrapped the stems and added some crystal accents. For her maids we wanted a little more color. We used Pink Roses and Peach stock again, along with White Hydrangea. The stems were wrapped in ivory double-faced satin.
For the guest tables we used glass cylinders with willow branches and floating candles for a romantic feel. The flowers used were Queen Anne's Lace, Pink Roses, Peach Stock, and Lemon Leaf. The pink cloths Ariel chose were perfectly matched with the roses.
We thought the outdoor ceremony was perfect for the theme. The two "altar" arrangements incorporated similar flowers: Pink Roses, Peach stock, White Lilies, Dendrobium Orchids, and Palm leaves. The bride's family brought 2 large ferns to flank the arrangements. Gorgeous!
We thoroughly enjoyed this project. New posts are on the way. Maybe something FALL! We have so many fall weddings coming up with great photos for you.

Until next time.
